Dishes

Ethan loves to help me. It's like Pavlov's Theory. Ethan hears me open the dish washer and he comes running (crawling, to be more accurate) He is a fast crawler. Sort of like a cockroach. He empty's my silverware and tosses it on the ground. I have resorted to doing dishes when he is napping.

It has been awhile since I have given a cancer update. I wish I had more information to offer. My surgeries have been postponed until more tests have been completed in March. Apparantly I can't have the other mastectomy unless the port comes out. They don't want to take the port out until they are completely done giving me all the drugs I need.

I have been banned from Herceptin. It reeks havoc on my heart and my oncologist doesn't want to be blamed for congenital heart failure. Geez. What a sissy.

Other than that, my biggest concern at this point is how to do dishes without my baby emptying faster than I can start it.....hmmmm.......

Why is it that babies are so drawn to dishwashers and toilets. My girls love to do the exact same thing. It's so annoying.

Wow, he is getting so BIG! I can't believe that soon that little guy will be one! It's amazing how fast time flys with kids! Makes me sad!

That is so funny, I remember babysitting Drue at that age, and I would load the dishwasher only to have her unload it right after. I got so frustrated, I think I spanked her little hand...then I felt bad and picked her up and kissed her. But she never touched my dishes again. Sorry Drue!!! Am I still your friend after that confession?

Paige,
It was great spending the whole day with you on Friday, thanx to the slow and long wait to see our beloved Doctor. I just wanted to tell you how strong you are; if someone didn't know better, you would think that you have never heard the word cancer from any doctor. You amaze me with the way you keep on keeping on!! Maybe I am just a scaredy (sp?)cat, but I still have anxiety and I worry and it's hard for me to return to "Life as Usual" It gives me so much courage to watch you do things like, go to Alaska during chemo, put on a fantastic booth at the Dickens Festival during radiation. There is NO stopping you. You are a great example to all of us, as a friend, a wife, and a mother. Also, I wanted to ask you, WHO took that fantastic picture of all 5 of you at the top of your blog?
Love you 4-ever,Karen

Oh Ethan is soo cute. Just let him throw the silverware everywhere. Who needs to eat anyway. Do your kids ever use their silverware anyway? Go cave man style! Just kidding.

You're right, I will never go back! Yes, the bed frame is new, we got it at the same time. It was a clearance bedroom set. Funny though, it almost didn't fit up our stupid stairs and around our sharp turn. After minor wall damage, well there it is! :) Happy birthday, late. Well, I wish I could go. Maybe Josh could give me his and you and I could just go! lol. JK
Love you girl!
